Depends what the State Regulations are . Not everybody has TSSA to define the regs . SS exhaust for Boiler installs ; not 636 PVC .

Support a plywood sheet from the arms of the hoist . Back truck up to elevated plywood . Roll , push, slide desk onto plywood. Drive truck away . Lower desk onto dolleys or floor . Done !

You do not say what your measurements are ? but if you keep an eye on Craigslist used or new that do not match new homeowners needs crop up from time to time . Istall a tarp across the opening as a temporary solution 'til you decide .

Depending on your usage ? I put in 10 ft x 10 ft OHD and paid extra for a 4ft x 7 ft mandoor so I can ride my mc in without opening the OHD keeping the heat in or cooler air in , depending on the season . Good Luck .

When I poured my floor I put Anchor Pods at the back of each doorway and a few others for insurance ! Made out of 6 x 6 HSS with a 1" diameter bar to loop a sling onto for pulling anything into my shop .Look up Champ Anchor Pods for ideas .

I scouted our Craigslist and found the metal cutouts from a man door manufacture so panels were 2 feet by 3 feet from exterior metal doors . Used a small metal brake to bend a 2" lip to over hang the foam . So they go 18" below grade to protect the foam from UV and lawn mower desruction.
