Certainly is. Some mounting plates for toggle clamps arrived a couple of days ago from Precision Dogs - 'Precision Clamp Mounts' , very nicely made. They fit Bessey and a certain other brand of clamps. Well they kind of do, no fault of the Precision Dogs Clamp Mounts (CNC'd) but the Bessey...

none yet :-) the list is just brands that are/were of interest, and a reference source for stuff I was interested in purchasing. I have amended the original post for clarification. I didn't come across any Duss when I was in Germany earlier this year. Will be more diligent next trip.

Now corrected, thanks. But now 575 with the addition of Brauer :-) Thanks too for the list of additional sources. I record all such in the database . I generally these days don't bother to look at ebay ( invariably they are too expensive, or don't ship to Australia). I do check some US sources...

Had found Maxiloc already. At least they use AMF part numbers. But, one has to 'enquire' by email for prices. Thanks for the IndustrialTooling link. They show prices, but use their own part number, and no apparent dimensions or other data to work out which clamp is whack AMF item. Brauer is...

I fibbed, there are only 575; the other 150 are car parts, fishing stuff etc brands. But Tools: Brands in my database of tool brands. This started as a means of tracking tool brands I was interested in, in terms of quality/tradition - made in Germany, Switzerland, England, France, USA, but has...

Thanks ttpete, I have not seen the De-Sta-Co clamps before. Have ordered some 207-U verticals, and 2027-U horizontals (new generation) from Amazonia. They look well made from the pics. I did see somewhere in the De-Sta-Co literature made 'either in USA or Germany'.

Thanks Monte. Jokari " UNCOMPROMISINGLY GOOD 100% Made in Germany" I had them in my tools database (now up to 730 brands, and 1278 'researched'/quoted tools; and 433 Suppliers, but had not made the association as a supplier to Knipex ( and others presumably) This page is worth a look for...

and... some Knipex Grip pliers, the action on these ( the larger one's in particular) is excellent. Tight pivots, really solid feel, thick but a slightly raggy nickel plating ( so presumably not immersion Nickel); that will drop of with use. But check out the clean profiles on those jaw teeth...

yet more: a tidy Knipex pipe gripping plier 81 03 230; plastic jaw covers are available for these. And a plastic ( HDPE) trim tool, of good dimensions, note the round feet presumably to make it easier to pick up; kind of expensive at $31 eur ( $47 aud), but will be handy.

also some Stahlwille low offset double end ring spanners 23/8 set plus a few larger sizes. Nicely made and finished like all SW. I need more drawer space. the Knipex 16 80 125 works well for cutting of 240V power cable outer covering. A relatively insignificant plastic device made in Germany (...
