    Show us your arbor press!

Here is a sad Greenerd No.3 that I got for $50. Worked on it a week, as it was jammed. Finally removed the pinion and... I got screwed. Oh well. Knew it was a pig in a poke, and all I got was the poke. Peter

    Craftsman Drill Press

Just to re-cover a little ground, here. There were three types of the Craftsman “Rocketman” or “Mohawk” , drill press produced for Sears by Central Specialty Co. (later Known as King-Seeley ). It appears in the 1941/42 edition of the Sears tool supplement catalog. There was the 103.0303...

    Craftsman Drill Press

Just thought I’d toss this oldie into the mix. You may not recognize this poor thing, because of it’s flat-top haircut. But if you’d seen it in its younger days, You’d see that it used to have a Mohawk. Yes, this is a C’man rarity: 103.0304 drill press. Got it a month or two ago, with the...

Craftsman Drill Press 103.0305 Restoration for a Good Cause

I would be much obliged, sir. I am asking, mainly because I have only been able to find one example on the internets, and I have been looking for months. So little seems to be known about these machines. Thanks. Peter

1940s Craftsman Mohawk Drill Press 103.0305

Your sliding down a slippery slope. I had to buy another press to get the spring cover-the press was $25, which is what that spring cover will cost (if you can find one). I see you haven’t updated in a while. How is it going?

    Craftsman Drill Press

Here is a question. What would you pay for a Mohawk floor model 103.0304? I see 103.0303/5 fairly often, missing parts for $50-$75. Never seen the floor model. Just wondering.

Walker-Turner GR50. This is the early 30’s version. Later, in the 40’s, changed to the heavier, GR50E: The GR50E mainly changed end bells, ditching the square ports, , making the castings beefier, and adding a cast iron bracket to hold the eye guards. Peter

Thought I'd throw my two cents in, and show you the baby brother to your 14" Delta band saw at the top of the thread; a '39 Delta 10" 768 Band saw. It has all the same hardware as the 14", just a smaller frame. Though I actually added a 14" table, as the original does not have a mitre slot. Peter

'59-'62 Galaxie Hubcaps Gold Lion Crest

I'm selling four (four) 14" hubcaps in G++ condition. There's a few dings and a couple blemishes in the chrome, but the center caps look great, with just a little clouding on the red section, where this typically occurs. I have pics of them all, but can't seem to attatch more that one at a time...

Oops. I did it again. Came home today with one of the most unique Craftsman grinder 410.16990. 8amp, 3/4 HP, 8"? wheels, complete, and lightly used, made by Brown and Brockman, the maker of the legendary B-Line. Anyone know when they made these? Pinch me, I think I'm dreaming.

Here's my first post here guys, so be gentle :^) Ok, it's not a grinder, but it's a pedestal for a grinder. I got tired of looking through the thread, so I cut to the chase: anyone have the grinder that goes on top of this beauty? Or how old it might be? Sure doesn't look like any Black and...
