Need suggestions for a Quick Change long screwdriver bit set

Pretty sure the Matco set is a rebranded Irwin-Hanson set. I'd consider them but I havre no experience with them.

Need suggestions for a Quick Change long screwdriver bit set

Like the Snap On SDML19KT http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?item_ID=647065&group_ID=681630 Or Matco MQC34B http://www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/MQC34B/34-PIECE-QUICK-CHANGE-BIT-SET/?source=igodigital Prefer US or UK/Germany, but quality imports of other varieties will be considered...

Most "Indestructible" Ratchets (for a school)

I'd suggest Armstrong. Easily rebuildable and relatively inexpensive. Not as cheap as Napa or GearWrench but worlds cheaper than S-O/Mac/Matco as well as US and tough. I've put some torque (by hand, no cheaters here) on mine, and never got any to skip. If it has to be cheaper, i'd go Gearwrench...

    WTB: Large wrenches

Found several, which I have removed from the list. Keep em coming, still need quite a few large wrenches. Thanks to all those who have sold me wrenches, and to those who will do so in the future.

I need a 1/2" drive LONG impact extension

I was thinking so, but Matco is pretty vague on their website, plus the marking looked like what they put on the ADV line. Guess i'll find. Thanks for the help guys

Does anyone know what the COO of the Matco SCXP3L is? http://www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/SCXP3L/1-2-DRIVE-3-PIECE-LOCKING-IMPACT-EXTENSION-SET/

I need a 1/2" drive LONG impact extension

Yessir, exactly as you guess. Sometimes I need it to mount some spray units with tanks in the bed that you have to lay on top of, but can't reach the base due to how close together the units are mounted as well.

I think Blue Point is what they apply to things they outsource, no matter if they are imported or domestic.

I need a 1/2" drive LONG impact extension

Maybe I could use the S-K 36" one, should I be worried about snapping the 3/8" end off? I usually use it with 3/4, 15/16 and 1-1/8 sockets. If I did snap the drive end off, would S-K likely warranty it?

I need a 1/2" drive LONG impact extension

We use them at work to mount service bodies to trucks, usually 5/8 or 3/4 bolt, need to be long so you can stand in the bed and put the socket/extension between the cab and bed. My coworker had a cheapo chrome one we used to use, but for reasons I won't go into, its not available anymore.

I need a 1/2" drive LONG impact extension

Thats a 1/2" to 3/8" Extension/Adapter. I suppose it could work, but i'd rather have a 1/2" all the way.

I need a 1/2" drive LONG impact extension

Like I said, i'll pay the high price if needed in order to stay US. I'm just wanting to know what my US options are other than Snap-On. Thanks though.

I need a 1/2" drive LONG impact extension

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-36". I prefer something US made if I can get it. I saw the snap-on 31", and at over $100, its a bit pricy. I'll pay it if I need to in order to stay US made, but i'd rather have something from S-K, Armstrong or Proto (or any other quality US brand for that...

Used Tools???? What do you buy?

Hand tools are fine, but usually only buy used air or cordless tools if they are a screaming deal and can be fixed for minimal investment anyway. I did find a Fluke 83-III in a local pawn for $50 OTD, which I couldn't pass, and its served me well. I've checked it against a couple meters at work...
