    Milwaukee M18 jump pack

I've got one of the generic ones off amazon that uses m18 batteries. It outputs 30a at 13.5v iirc to charge the vehicle battery, so no use on truly dead or shorted batteries. But it'll get something going if need be, and it's not complete toast. Just takes a while longer.

RBRT Hex bit extractor in the opposite direction?

Not sure if it'll be made in a size large enough for you but Wera makes their Hex plus (hex+) which is bi-directional. They have them in 1/4 hex bits up to 10 mm iirc.

Finally an extra compact 3/8. I guess I could retire my modified 3453 if necessary.

1/4 cordless ratchets (not M12 high speed)

The newer insider ratchet has a 1/4" anvil adapter and more torque than both the high speed fuel and 2nd gen long neck. Per Milwaukee: Insider - 60 ft lbs 1st gen long neck - 40 ft lbs High speed & 2nd gen long neck - 35 ft lbs

New CAPRI XL Reversible Flex Head Ratcheting Wrench Set

Looks like the same design as Matco has, which another guy has at the shop. Which have broken more often than the kabo ones I use at the shop.

    Favorite Milwaukee M12 Ratchet?

If you need the extra torque, then the 1st gen fuel m12 or the insider. I'd skip the 1st gen extended as the 40ft-lb rating barely beats the high speeds 35 ft-lb rating. I've had the regular 3/8, high speed 3/8, 2nd gen extended high speed 3/8, which I sold off. As I recently got the...

So the new Milwaukee M18 batteries are bigger (and don't fit our application anymore)

Could try the even newer (and pricier) forge batteries. They have a somewhat smaller footprint.

@Rusty67 upon further thought, the dysons I have shut down when voltage is too low anyways. They run an additional cell in their packs iirc so its 20v+. If I'm remembering this right, this means it may shut itself off well before a chance of damage.

Dunno. I've never tried to take them that low. Definitely a possibility as it only connects the +/- connections and turns on when the trigger is pulled.

Yep. Just search "dyson m18" on amazon, ebay, etc. I've done it to two dysons I was given.

Dyson (for powered roller brush) with m18 battery pack conversion. Probably find a cheap one with a bad battery fairly easily.

Just got mine too. The bits coming out too easily was why I held off initially. Well that and I already had the long reach high speed 3/8.

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

A guy I work with has one and loves it. He mostly uses it with the 1/4 & 3/8 inserts, the older ones at that. I've kinda been waiting on a deal for one of these, so ordered it. Plus I sold my long reach 3/8 to another co-worker...

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

Those special buys were the black friday deals I think. I didn't need that grease gun but for $100 including an extra 2.5ah battery I couldn't say no. I'm glad I wass able to snag that deal. I've been holding out since Aug/Sep for a deal on both the 3/8" & 1/2" gen2 stubbies. I got the 1/2"...
