    For those of you that have dyno's in your home garage ...

    Time to build a pool for her outside away from the shop. use the pool water as the watermuffler in the"septic tank" - Remember you need to disapate the exhaust heat as well as the sound. This works better on an engine dyno But can be done.

    How are you moving the caliper braket ? Most place DONT want the Liabity of working on brakes . Donot cut the hubs wheelbearings go soon enough ,easier the cut rotor. This going to be a track car ? What do you think this upgrade will do ? It looks like you have the Alum duel piston caliper.

    As Steam Mill showed/ talked about in his you have to mod the garage door first. Make sure that the space will allow the door to work. Also you could take the wheels off the upper car an store it on blocks to gain a lil extra room. that way the tires will not have flatspots from sitting.

    When you get the power in ,raise the lift,an see IF you could live with the arms up in the air . ( on Safety locks ) I store mine "UP " an find I can walk under the arms, no trip hazard n the floor.

    You need to find a NEW pulley that fit both the shaft an line the belts up. Thinking your way thru, I would get a vfd an set the pulley's to one speed , may need a 3 phase motor . Just think your machine is made up pieces. easyier to set speeds with vfd

    Do Not give up . BUT the motor you linked to is the wrong one - Frame mount wise. Find out what you need for motor specs- HP, mounting system, shaft size ( Dia & length ) then look around Craigslist, electric motor shop/ scrap yards for old motors that fit you need. Call some auction house...
