    Not sure Mohawks had anything between but a steel hyd line. Mine is that old, take the serial number an call them, IF it's a Mohawk good deal, look at there website ,only thing NOTon mine is the arm locks to keep the arms from moving when in the air.

    Sheet Metal storage

    Show us your work area. How many working? I went into a shop in NC ,he has a large flat work area( just larger than a sheet) an shelfs under it to hold each sheet size. steel on one alum on other ,cutoffs on a third,shelf only has to be a couple in high. Someday I'll take pics

    depth of bench issue due to a step at the front of garage

    I agree with adding to the floor an making the step bigger out. Make this out of wood, your knees an legs will thank you as the standing on the concrete floor will drain you.

    Another welder (Pro Mig 180) versus electrical...

    Check voltage from white to copper ,then black to copper then try hooking up the white wire to the 3rd lug on the plug, an the bare copper wire as ground to the outlet. You seem to have the neutral ( white ) hooked up in the panel.

    Is 14'x24' too small for 2 post hoist install?

    I found out that if you put the lift UP,you'll not trip over the arms . I'm 5'10" an I can walk under the arms. Put EVERYTHING in the shop on wheels. I think you'll Love the lift an work around by moving the tools you need to use for each job.

    We have the one in post 9. VERY adjustable an it has a HEMI on it. Remember you need to mount a bell housing along with the engine. I think --> will need a Heavy stand for his.
