Go with the indoor plumbing. Besides the hand and parts washing, I'd consider running a toliet in the garage too. This way if nature calls, you can do your business without getting the house grungy. This is one of the things I am considering when I build the second garage.

What size is the garage. Most 1 or two car garages can be cooled with a window unit.
