I just emailed Estwing asking about the hammer in question. I will report back as soon as I receive a reply.

    Odd Estwing Hammer

E3-28GM appears to be the model. It seems to be a variation of the 28oz milled face framing hammer which is model E3-28SM.

Double suckage. That LaRue mount is $264 alone.

    Metric, SAE or Both?

Logical does not mean practical. Cut that board to 3,130.55 mm, or 313.055 cm, or 31.3055 decimeters. We could use it in foot/inch style: 31 decimeters, 3 centimeters, .55 mm. Or, you know, "ten foot three and a quarter" or 123 1/4 inches. Which one is easier? Metric works alright for measuring...

    Metric, SAE or Both?

Which is how it should be. Metric is a terrible system for anything outside the medical field. I have both out of necessity, but my 3/4 stuff is all standard and I have more large standard wrenches than metric, since the large stuff I work on tends to be old and standard.

    The Snap On Website...

SK is by far the worst, I could have designed a better website. It's makes the Snap-On site look positively cutting edge by comparison.

Last USA made Craftsman Nut Drivers $24.88 12 pcs Standard/Metric

I've got a drawer full of nut drivers I've never used and never will. It's just one of those things I never really found a good use for. A smart man once said: "There is no reality, only perception."

What Did You Purge In Your Workspace / Workshop Today?

Strange this thread popped up, I was just sitting here thinking about how to make more space for all the new wrenches, pliers, and pry bars that I have purchased this week. I'm pretty sure I have a whole drawer full of nut drivers that haven't been used in years (if ever) They may get purged...

    Show your new tool arrivals

Ordered the pliers set and the standard and metric wrench sets. Just now went back and ordered another pliers set (apparently the last one) and the 3/8 drive socket set. Too cheap to pass up.

Anyone expirience this M12 Fuel issue?

My M18 Fuel 1/4 hex impact does it every once in a while. Pull the trigger, nothing, let off and pull and it works fine. It never bothered me enough to check too deeply into it.

Any experience with CM U.S.A. ratcheting wrenches?

I have some, they are serviceable but far from stellar, boxed end is large and difficult to fit in some places, seemingly more so than other brands. At the listed price I would absolutely pass, US made or not.

Any made in USA woodworking clamps?

Jorgenson used to be, but I found they did not have a COO anywhere to be found when I purchased some last year.

Those with SO 14.4V micro 3/8 impact...

I'm a Milwaukee fan, but I say jump on it for that money. They have an excellent reputation. I have the Milwaukee version (M12) and I use the heck out of it, it's very handy.

    Sears.com Bait-and-Switch Pricing?

UPDATE: I just logged in again at Sears and they added 10,000 points to my account, not quite 16,000 but it makes me feel a little better. That poor website needs some help, though.

    Sears.com Bait-and-Switch Pricing?

Just placed an order at Sears.com and I think I got screwed, at least a little. I needed a 1" 3/4 drive socket anyway and saw on here they had the 3 prybar set for $17.99 again so I threw an order together. Added the 40" metal creeper for $29.99 and the 20 piece Gearwrench set for $48 and...
