    I need a pole saw

I have a Stihl gas powered one and it's great. It's kind of like a pressure washer, once you have one you start using it a lot more than you planned on initially. For me gas makes more sense, I'm frequently in areas far removed from power and I have a fleet of other saws and tools that run on...

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

If I can get the heat to break and make it tolerable to be outside for a little bit I plan on starting it soon. It's been miserable to be outside most of this summer here in Kansas.

Starting Spark Plug with Rubber Hose

My dad broke one off bigger than hell in his '82 CJ-8 Scrambler about 1983-84 and he is still pissed off that he did it.

    Laminated Steel Tools

Low torque was its bread and butter. I have the jaw covers and use them a lot on chrome or plumbing work to hold stuff still. And it’s also been 30 years since they came out. We figured out a lot of stuff since then.

Starting Spark Plug with Rubber Hose

Just buy stove bolt 6 Chevys from now on. Super easy access to the plugs.

Grizzly 6" belt and disc sander, Model SD-69

This is some of the best and most overlooked advice I have ever seen on here. Follow up, how do you look at it and tell what you're needing from pictures? Are there any clues or signs you can give me for my next bad impulse purchase?

    Snap-On tshirts run small

Well, they're banking on you having to cut back on food to make those payments.

What power tool to take apart furniture (hex, phillips, etc)

1/4" impact driver is my go to for any of those jobs.

    Work Boots!

Clean with some good saddle soap, then oil/shine/polish the leather as appropriate. The bonus to all this is it also increases the water repellent qualities of your leather as well. I can assure you diesel based drilling mud and the soupy red clay dirt and gravel of north Louisiana and the small...

    Laminated Steel Tools

For some reason I was envisioning something like a combo wrench for these. I don't get why these are still made, but there must be enough of a market for them to keep them in production. I know HVAC and refrigeration guys seem to really like them more than others. I probably have a few of them...

Any one own these Craftsman V French made pliers?

Sounds about right. They are in the same boat with Porter-Cable. They made some of the best carpenters tools known to mankind and they have all but killed that brand I feel like.

    36” Tool Chest

Thought about the HF 34" 6 drawer cart? It feels pretty solid and seems to get decent reviews.

    Laminated Steel Tools

I actually do use my Robogrips with the original soft jaw covers for the light duty work on decorative/chrome/plated hardware plumbing etc. to not tear up the finish. And they work just as intended. Craftsman also had some laminated plier sets around that same 1999-2004 time frame that were...

Any one own these Craftsman V French made pliers?

They're not Chicom, so that's a plus in my eyes.

What size are the threads on bar clamps?

You mean tamper proofing? Yeah, I've done that to some signs etc. I got tired of people stealing from us.

What size are the threads on bar clamps?

If you cross thread it bad enough it'll do the same thing as a weld for you.

    Work Boots!

I have the same pair of Red Wings from May of 2010 going strong. Red Wing takes pride in many of their boots being rebuildable. They survived the oilfield, general construction, wildland firefighting, farm chores and god knows what all else to this point. For hard work, they are the best. My...
