I have 3/8" metric sockets, I use the 3/8" impact when I'm working on my motorcycle. It seems to work just right for that application... Otherwise it's 1/2" on the cars or 1/4" on general stuff..

This is true, I think that Deere owns A&I, most of their hand tools are blue point re badges. A&I's prices aren't too bad for 3rd party...

In the 10 years that I worked Case/IH and John Deere I NEVER saw/did this. BUT I'm not saying that it doesn't happen..

I started out with Black and Decker, the Matrix system of tools. It's not bad tools, but not great either (too many compromises). I also bought into the WORXS platform too (just have a blower and a weed eater) Otherwise I sold the B&D and moved on to the Milwaukee M12 line.. No regrets at...
