    12” vs 18” 3/8 flex ratchet?

I hope these are the last ratchets I ever buy and my kids take them when I don’t need them any more.

    12” vs 18” 3/8 flex ratchet?

I don’t have the extra long flex to compare but you can see the relative lengths in this pic. The flex are on the right. That’s the FL80 second from left and FLF80A far right the long versions of the two. So you can see the flex is longer than the non flex. Assume the same for the 18” so the...

    12” vs 18” 3/8 flex ratchet?

    12” vs 18” 3/8 flex ratchet?

I agree both! I recently added the 12” flex and standard to the 8”. Big difference. This weekend I really wanted more. I don’t own a 1/2” to 3/8” adapter and was using a 3/8” T50 socket. Needed more leverage. I added the 17” non flex arrives today. Here are the flex and standard next to...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Started with 4 and grabbed the 6! I am hoping it was the impact swivel that lost my torque.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

3/8” stubby disappointed today. I was trying to replace the hinge on my Ford F150 removing 2 T50 bolts that are known to be difficult, it wouldn’t even budge one of them. To be fair I did have to use a swivel and I’m sure that’s what killed it

    Probably old news: compressor explosion

I have the exact same thing. Definitely have used it over the years but it’s sat for quite a while now that I found my Milwaukee m12 tools. Honestly that was enough maybe time to let it go. Always nervous when I turn it on and then do try to keep a little bit of distance. But I’ve been...

    Show your new tool arrivals

Last year I got 1/4” and 3/8” snapon ratchets in regular and flex. I was disappointed with the 3/8” ratchets. They were much shorter than I was expecting. After reading a post here about longer 3/8” ratchets I decided to go for it and ordered the longer regular head and flex. Love them...

Need a way to stop garage door from opening when car is up on lift

Assuming your opener plugs in close to where it’s mounted very cheap and easy. Use and Amazon echo dot and a controllable outlet. Plug the opener into the controlled outlet. Name it a “garage” Before you begin working on it say “Alexa turn off the garage” it will turn of power at the...

    socket rails

I don’t like the modern rails. Still using CM metal, bought extras before Sears died. Particularly dislike the Ernst rails, waste of money.

    Sound proofing from traffic noise.

We replaced all the windows in our home and went with different thickness in the panes in our master bedroom which faces the street specifically to lessen street noise. It’s a huge difference. Honestly the cost wasn’t so much more I wish we had don’t it throughout the house. Not a big deal in...

How many socket sets do you own?

Re: How many socket sets (multiples of same drive size) do you own? At least three full sets in 1/2”, 3/8” and 1/4” including metric and SAE and regular and deep. Plus impacts, a huge Sunex 3/8”’set and some Snappy SAE impacts, some stubby impacts and 1/4” impacts.
