cordless tools set recommendation - drill, impact driver, oscillating tool?

Spend a little more money and reward yourself. That will give you more power, options in voltage, and a great selection in tools and manufacturers. I'm in the Makita line, that I recommend. They have a factory service center,17 miles away that will work on any brand tool you bring in.They save old...

Knipex Twin Grip - I was wrong!

Thank you dark zero and Dave455 for the time, pictures and responses to my question. When I purchase a new tool to upgrade,I'm hoping not to duplicate what I already have . I'm looking for features the new tool can do,that the other maybe was weak at,or couldn't do.As most of us here on GJ do,we...

Knipex Twin Grip - I was wrong!

Interesting post, the reason I'm saying that, and I'm not out to hijack this thread.I have a Snap-on LN46ACF Pliers, works great. My question is anyone have a opinion on either one being better?I could do the larger Knipex and have a smaller Snap-on, hopefully that would give me quality and...

Stubby flex head ratcheting wrench set

I just started using my recently purchased Mac stubby combo's.Excellent fit, finish and smooth action. They have the off corner engagement on the box end and the ASD open end, which has those lines that help grip the fastener without marking it up.I believe they won't grip like the Snap-on or the...

    Speed wrenches…anyone use them?

These sound interesting but I think I'll stay with stubby versions of wrenches, versatile and more bang for the buck, and my knuckles might like my decision. I can get a lot done with my Snap-on OEX,Proto shorty combo and MAC shorty, comb, ratcheting.
