A little of both. I’ve got a 100lb tank pigtailed into the selector valve that had 15 or so pounds but too cold to pressurize. Where I utterly failed to be properly prepared was in allowing the 2 mounted 30lbers to run empty prior to switching to the big tank… lesson learned.

Blue cardboard. They may have actually been included in the early blow molded plastic as well, but I cant say with any certainty. I’ve got a few of them and can attest that they fulfill their intended purpose. V/r, John
