JOKARI automatic wire strippers, gota be the best out there

OP how are they holding up. Do you use your strippers daily in a work environment? I did some research and 20100 models have replaceable blades. I also found that FELO has a rebrand of yours in hi-viz red/yellow which I am probably going to buy only for the easy to find color. I was searching...

    Tools of Japan

I finally ran into a situation where I had to use one. It was at my new work assembling a brand new power panel for a tortilla making machine. Had to tap a new hole in the box/enclosure because the tap handle would have struck a wall. Luckily an electrician had a MAC tools set of 2 socket...

    "zapping" tool batteries

I have used a car charger on jumpstart mode to zap Nicads aa and AAA and also 18v battery packs also Nicads. It does work. It's something you want to start with a little amount of zaps and test and see if the battery will charge. I would definitely have full face shield protection.

    Air Ratchets air or electric

I have a 1/4hex M12 impact and used that for nearly 2 years before buying the m12 3/8 cordless ratchet. Man was I missing out by not buying a cordless ratchet sooner. I work on Japanese cars 90% of the time so i'm dealing with your situation all of the time. If your going to strictly regulate...

    POR 15 opinions

I looked up SEM Rust Shield and found a post on a Z-car forum "Posted April 1, 2008 This is a far better option than POR-15/Eastwood Rust Encapsulator. I used RE on my rear undercarriage. It worked good, but in some spots it flaked off. This required scuffing and another application. When it...

Preventing rust on hand tools near saltwater

Fluid Film, I've been using this exact style of grout sealer applicator bottle. When the brush gets dirty just give it a blow off with your air gun. Mine came with a clear cap for that covers the brush section when not in use. What I love about it is when I need a liberal amount I just unscrew...

Old blueprint service cart, question regarding resale

I would start at $230 for the cart on CL. You have 3 pieces most other sellers will not have on their cart: side shelf, top pad, pry bar holder. Are the drawer slides friction or BB? I'd love to come see the cart and make you an offer i'm 25min east of you.

Looks Like A Handy Little Prying Tool

Here's a great copy of Toyota SST. What they don't show is the handle has a ball detent in it like an socket extension so it's second piece from the main head. I personally own one

Best Utility Knife / Box Cutter

I EDC this SCREWPOP – RON’S UTILITY KNIFE 3.0. I'm kinda surprised that no on has mentioned it yet. I see that every one is mentioning your traditional standard handle box cutters. https://screwpoptool.com/screwpop-rons-utility-knife-2

    Best Ultrasonic cleaner?

https://www.bransonic.com Is what they had at my old work. That thing had to be on for at least 4 hrs each day. It was an older model with LEDs that lit up what function it was set as. Some workers had it set at degas instead of "set Sonics" the cleaning mode.

What's the maximum size folks are using for 3/8" impact sockets?

Love the SO 21mm mid length socket. I don't have to switch to 1/2" dr just to take lug nuts off. BTW: In the magnetic plastic socket holder the 21 will fit in the 19mm hole. I took the 18mm out and put the 19mm in it's spot.

Different design 3-rd hand soldering holder "Pro's Kit"

Just got back from Taiwan and found this gem at an electronics supply store. I've always hated this POS version. So when I saw this much simpler Pro's Kit I had to buy it. All i'm trying to do is solder 2 gosh darn wires together I don't need the clips to have a double pivot joint. Pro'sKit...
