Epoxy Coat bubbles, What the hell!?

I'm not saying this is a problem exclusively with Epoxy Coat, but I am saying that if there are preventative measures that I could have taken, that I would have liked to have known about them. As far as drying goes; from the Epoxy Coat website, I gave it over 24. No, I do not have a vapor...

Epoxy Coat bubbles, What the hell!?

We're in a drought right now, no moisture in the air or in the ground, and the concrete temperature wasn't rising, as I applied this in the afternoon. I also kept all doors closed so no direct sunlight would reach the epoxy while it cured. What else is there?

Epoxy Coat bubbles, What the hell!?

I did everything, and I mean EVERYTHING exactly as epoxy coat suggested. Diamond grinding, acid etch, waiting a day for everything to be dry, the whole nine yards. Everything looked great as I closed up the shop in the afternoon. This morning, I go to check on it and walk on my new floor for the...

Wow, thanks mysta2! That link is going to help me out a TON in building mine. Again, thank you so much for posting a "How-to" page. I searched and searched and couldn't find one. While I have your attention, what brand of wheel chock do you have on those tables? I don't recognize them.

    Small Motorcycle Garage Renovation

Your shop looks incredible! It is definitely one of my favorites on this site. Can you post some more details and pictures of your work table pictured above? I have two motorcycles myself and this looks just like what I'm needing to work on. Again, GREAT looking motorcycle shop.

Maxjax and foxbody mustang height question

Can anyone with a maxjax and a fox mustang confirm the height of the combo in the fully raised position? According to the internet specs I found, it should be 8'4". The building I'm turning into a garage currently has rafters 9' from the dirt floor. The concrete floor I'm going to place will cut...

What to use for cabinet doors?

Nobody is questioning his shop. He does have a very nice garage, nicer than many people on gj. However, rather than taking/saving pictures of it and then typing a short description with a picture relative to the OP's original question, he often defaults to the "watch my video."

Please help me restore my grandfather's Wilton vise

Well now this is interesting. According to http://junkyardtools.com/tool_history/wilton but as you can clearly see on the side of my vise that has a 10-45 date it is cast with "pat pend". Something doesn't add up here. :dunno: Also, does anyone know if this vise would have a model number...

Please help me restore my grandfather's Wilton vise

Here's a few more pictures of the vise. I'll definitely look into doing an electrolysis bath since so many of you have recommended it. I also did not know that Wilton's were originally painted tool grey! I thought they were all that off-green color. I know that having the base may not...

Please help me restore my grandfather's Wilton vise

I don't know a whole lot on the background of this vise, other than it was the very first one that my grandfather acquired for the farm after he got out of the Navy after WWII. His family farmed around Wichita at the time so I'm also not sure if he bought it new or if it was bought at a company...
