How good tool companies go under.

You take your cognitive reasoning and logical thought processes and get the hell out! Around these parts we say "Down with HF! Death to all those that support them. Snap-On is the only way to go. Down with anything made overseas or by and overseas company. The corporate man is selling out the...

How do all organize your screwdrivers?

Does anyone know what material ^that is? I've been looking and looking for it to line my tool boxes with but all I can ever find is the thin stuff to set tools on. I've never been able to locate the thick foam like that where you can cut it out to make inserts.

What is the best tap & die set for the money?

Honestly, I'm extremely pleased with my NAPA brand standard and metric tap and die sets. Here's the metric: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?R=BK_55511_0100552925 and the standard: http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?R=BK_T1141_0100552925 I'm not...

Not entirely Jack. We may be the minority on GJ but I'm with you. I am not a fan of casters on any table designed to do medium or heavy work.

    Vise Grips

Wow, when did this happen? I have several Irwin Vise Grips that are all working well, in my opinion, but they do all have a few years on them. Maybe I'm just not using them like you guys are. IDK

    Ford repair manuals

^X2 The Haynes/Chilton manuals will take care of the basic things and then the corral has enough information in its database to build literally any kind of fox body you want.

Nice! I like the boarder around the edge rather than just the checkerboard all the way to the wall.

Can anyone identify this Wilton vise?

Well I guess that's a little better than September 1971 where you could pick one up for $6.29! haha http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1499&dat=19710922&id=D3YfAAAAIBAJ&sjid=hCgEAAAAIBAJ&pg=3126,1437251 Any suggestions for finding/making new jaws?

Can anyone identify this Wilton vise?

Interesting. I just thought it would be nice to have because of it's small size to compliment the much larger vise I'm picking up this weekend. I do not have a mill, nor do I have access to one. How hard is it to make new jaws?

Can anyone identify this Wilton vise?

You guys seem pretty high on your Wilton vise's so I'm hoping someone here can give me information on this vise. I found it in the garage that I'm planning on turning into a car shop. On one side it has "WILTON" cast into it, and on the other it has: JAW WIDTH 3 1/2 JAW OPENING 3 MADE IN USA...
