My first thought exactly. I found out today that the Sears store (Washington Square Mall) down the road is closing Dec 7th, so much for making thru the X-mas season.

I generally don't use plastic cases or trays, so I put them in a big box, mark the contents, and toss it in the attic next to the holiday decoration totes. On occasion I'll keep a cardboard box up in the attic, typically I toss it when the next holiday comes around. :lol_hitti Hope that...

I know what you mean about a cheap set, because off-road you don't want to dig in mud looking for a $30 socket. I like the ugly multi-colored HF socket sets for $5 (with coupon), because I don't care if one or five get lost and most people won't steal them. This set is less than $20 covers...

I enjoy buying used tools off my fellow GJ members, and honestly never thought about it until this thread, all new purchases have been industrial brand tools (mostly proto & williams). Also, I like the thread disclaimer :beer:

To your defense, in Indianapolis you can be on a totally different side of town in 15 minutes or less :3gears: It's CL everything is a gamble for the buyer and seller. But you would have been better off putting it on the curb with a sign of $5 obo and the bench would have grown legs :lol_hitti

I noticed that HF raised the price this month, I got one to try awhile ago for $23 out the door (with coupon). First time I used it under a hood, I took it to a neighbor's garage to do a compression test and his fluorecent shop lights over powered the LEDs. I did like that the ends unscrew...
