Union Steel Chest Corp. Machinest Box

Like many of you I enjoy going to the Junk stores just to look . I rarely fine anything worthwhile. Yesterday while dropping off toys at the thrift store I spotted this in a pile of yet to be sorted stuff. The guy said $15 and it would be mine. This box was made by Union Steel Chest Corp...

    8" variable speed bench grinder

I have had a Craftsman 8" variable speed for about 5yrs now. I it set up with a Blue- Point multitool and have put a lot of hours on it I have never had a problem. Still runs smooth. I still see this Grinder on sale down in the states for $125ish. Good luck. Regards John

    Dual Cut Saw

When they first came out we had one on our rescue truck for the "what if" factor. We used it a couple of times for some hard and unusual extractions instead of our sazall. Worked well but would bind a little on the newer car steel High strength A posts. A little spray bottle of H20 and Dawn dish...

    Tool Trip to Grandpa's

The Jaguar wrenches are worth a lot to a collector as most went missing from the cars. I have a few for my E-Type and I know what I would have to pay to complete my set. They are often are worth 4-times what a snap-on wrench is worth. Check E-Bay you'll understand what a collector is willing to...

    let's see your speed handles

I found this about 6years ago in a bucket of free rusty stuff at a estate sale. It was my first plumb tool and is my most used. Perfect for changing tires etc.. I think snap-on is the only place you can get one new. I don't know why there are not more of these as they are so handy for breaking a...
