    Once again, very nice documentation work Frank. One comment on the hammers; never strike two hardened steel hammers together. For the striking hammer a lead or brass hammer plastic face or even a hardwood hammer should be used.,

    Anyone have a Reed 403-1/2R Vise?

    Reed made them both ways. My 403-1/2's jaws are replaceable, both of these are flat nose, not round meatball main screw heads, so age may be the difference.
