Good small electrical pump for fluid transfers?

Bump Anyone else have any ideas? Nearly all of them say "not suitable for use with gasoline".

    Decent pegboard bins?

Looking for some decent pegboard bins that I can just put screws and washers and bolts in. They need to be able to hang on standard pegboard. Saw ebay and harbor freight and such, but they look like thin cheap junk. Anyone got a lead on some decent ones?

Good small electrical pump for fluid transfers?

Thanks but I was thinking of something more along the lines of this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Excellent-12V-DC-Oil-Fluid-Scavenge-Suction-Vacuum-Transfer-Pump-Extractor-Car-/391633638111?hash=item5b2f2f12df:g:6yYAAOSw-K9ZFDcl But I'd have to alter that one as well. Have to change the plugs...

Good small electrical pump for fluid transfers?

I'm looking for a good small pump that comes with small, 1/4" tubing. I'm assuming the tubing would need to be something like 5 or 6 feet long on each side of the pump. I'd like a kit, something where I don't have to source any of my own parts or cobble something together. If possible, anyway...

Best bang for the buck mini torch?

I need a decent soldering torch. I keep running into situations where I need one, so I'm going to get one. But there seems to be a ton of chinese stuff out there for like $12. Something tells me that I probably don't want that. Or do I? Which soldering mini torch would you recommend? I know snap...

Best slide hammer? Or is there one?

Well how about a good "bang for the buck" slide hammer? When I started this thread, I didn't think that slide hammers would be all that expensive. Should have known better.

Best slide hammer? Or is there one?

I'll just be doing cars and light duty trucks. I'll mainly be using for auto body work.

Best slide hammer? Or is there one?

I'm needing to get a good slide hammer. I'd like to be able to use it for different types of work, if possible. Is there a "best" slide hammer? Are there ones (or brands) to stay away from? My knowledge of slide hammers is quite lacking.

Oil filter wrench... never used this type

Anyone have any idea, how many different oil filter sizes there are? When it comes to how man oil filter sockets you'd actually need to buy. In order to cover most/all cars and light duty trucks. No semis or anything.

    Surviving My Own Stupidity...

I wouldn't worry about it. Obviously learn from it and don't do it again, but sh1# happens. My grandparents business burned to the ground in this manner. Oily rags soaked in stain + the texas summer heat. Burnt down a multi million dollar business. Several years before that, they burnt down the...

    Deep offset wrench sets?

Amazon can have many different sellers selling the same item, and sometimes it works out where a given seller is just selling it at a cheaper price than the price that the prime item is listed for. Then you've got to pay shipping of course, but depending on the item, the shipping may bring the...

    Deep offset wrench sets?

So to be clear, there are other companies that don't do that right? Tool truck brands, for instance. Some of them must have their own manufacturing plants. Or is it like tires? You're talking about on the same page, right? They could show you anything they wanted at that point. Type that same...

    Deep offset wrench sets?

Beware Amazon prime. They have a tendency to jack up the price to cover the shipping. Make sure you compare to ebay, and other non-prime prices for the same item.

Oil filter wrench... never used this type

This. I love this. Its a feeling I chase after. Gonna go off topic but man... this forum had me thinking that other than tool truck brands, American tools were all but dead. Not even! They're everywhere. Lisle is yet another one. Bondhus. Klien. Estwing. Kraft. Leatherman. Channel lock. It...

Oil filter wrench... never used this type

Yeah see I understand all the types, except for the pliers type. Unless the oil filter screws in sideways, you're going to have a leverage problem with the pliers type. Then again, maybe that's all they're for. Those look big enough to be able to overcome a leverage disadvantage.

Oil filter wrench... never used this type

Never used this pliers type oil filter wrench: http://www.ebay.com/itm/192007042000?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I was thinking of buying that. I've only ever used the metal strap type, which comes with a handle. Is there anything I should know about the pliers...

Any evidence they're no longer american made, or that their process has taken a turn for the worse?

    Impact sockets vs Modern wheels

Always wondered how this happens. Run into it a time or two. Where it seems that they just used a 12 foot breaker bar to tighten a lugnut. There's a lot of situations where it could happen but it doesn't seem to me like it would. I don't think that places are using an industrial impact and the...
