    Above 1200 Sq/FT White Mountains Garage 28x54

I finally started playing the Millermatic 211! It is awesome! Unfortunately, the tank regulator was bad out of the box and it had been sitting for a couple years. I called Miller, they did some troubleshooting with me and then just shipped me a new one. Worked great after that! I started...

The house and garage are heated by a 500 gallon propane tank. I have a remote monitor on the tank that connects to an app on my phone and monitors the usage and levels of the tank so I know when to call for a refill. I try and time it to fill in the summer when prices are low. Anyway, I...

We are still doing our summer party with campers. Last year we had an array of cars for the kids to drive around. When everything is done, I just hose it all out. The floor drain is surprisingly a lot more useful than I thought. Even in the winter, when the snow and ice melts off the sleds...

Trying to keep things organized, I had two of these shelves so hung them on the wall and finally got the receiver off the table. I'll eventually do something better but I hate when stuff is on the floor. I put a switch on the wall so it turns on the receiver, the bluetooth adapter and turns...

My sister and other brother n law came up with my 4 year old nephew for a weekend. I took them snowmobiling, now my nephew keeps saying he is asking Santa for a sled. lol My Wife and I went to the Snowmobile Grass Drags last year in October which has water racing, grass drag racing, etc...

I really got involved in snowmobiling over the past couple years and a lot of my free time has been working on sleds and related things. I live an hour and 45 min away from the garage so my time to work on the garage has been taken a backseat to playing with toys. :) We did a big snowmobile...

I finally finished up all the electrical and the last thing I did was install a transfer switch on the main panel for a generator. I have a small portable generator and I wanted to make it easy to connect during a power outage to run the fridge and some lights. Man... I don't know what I'd do...

Time for some updates! Where does the time go? :dunno: I ran out of plywood and went to order more and Lowes stopped carrying this brand/type of plywood. I searched around for months and couldn't find anything comparable and sort of just gave up and moved on for awhile. It took me a 1 1/2...

Cart for a double wall oven?

Funny you ask... I was just thinking about powder coating but haven't gone down that path yet. I'm still learning how to stick metal together. :bounce:

Cart for a double wall oven?

The more I think about it, I don't need to wheel it outside as the power cord won't reach where I have the plug anyway. I just want to keep it mobile so it doesn't take up space, I only use it a few times a year. I'm sort of thinking about somehow building it into my workbench or just build a...

Cart for a double wall oven?

I have this double wall oven that came out of my house during a renovation. I tried to sell it and nobody wanted it so I moved it to the garage and built a plug for it. We use it for parties and it works great! It's currently sitting on a HF dolly so I can move it but it's awkward and feels...

I built a 12"x12" box anchor out of some scrap. It will fit in the storage compartment of our Pontoon boat and isn't very heavy. No more having to keep hold of the boat when we jump off and go swimming. Can't wait to try it!

What metal saw to start with?

I picked up a Dewalt Portaband for $100 bucks today... I'll probably grab 4x6 saw next time something decent shows up and I'll have them all to choose from. :pimpflash:pimpflash:pimpflash

What metal saw to start with?

I think you're right, a bench top bandsaw sounds like the way to go. I really don't need it to be portable. Too bad we don't have a northern tool around here... Looks like it's on Amazon but I'm a little worried about getting thrown around in shipping.
