MAC brushless 20V impact (MCF891) same as DeWalt?

i'd love to, but they go for $700+ up here. i was basically set on picking up the milwaukee 3/8", but if the mac is actually putting out 275 ft/lb compared to the mil's 210 and the dewalt's 130 i'll spend a bit more and pick up the mac... snap on and IR aren't really in the same ballpark price...

MAC brushless 20V impact (MCF891) same as DeWalt?

Was on the truck today and saw their "new" brushless stuff looks the same as and uses the same batteries as the DeWalt 20V Max XR. There are SLIGHT differences in the plastic housing but all the impacty, lighty, and switchy bits look identical. I figure it's a safe bet that they're just a...

Canadian Napa vs US Napa Tools

they're decent stuff, but certainly not US made. fit finish and feel aren't tool truck quality. i don't have a ton of it, but the stuff i do have has held up. for the price it gets a pass for sure.

What websites do Canadians buy tools from?

yeah, just had a flip through BCfasteners. seems decent, i'll probably be picking up a couple things from them. as far as shipping from some of the US sites, as long as you stay away from UPS things seem to run smoothly? when the chance to save over a hundred on stuff is there i'm pretty...

(For canadians) Mastercraft PASS or FAIL tools

I'm still using most of my Maximum socket set from around 2003. Built and tore down a few cars, used breaker bars, snipes on the ratchets regularly, using the chromies as impacts for years. Been wrenching full time on trucks and equipment since 2012 and they're now worn out...but still holding...

    Recommendations for Canadian online retailers?

Forgive me if it's a common question, but I didn't find a whole lot during my search. I'm doing a bit of shopping and I'm starting to realize why the only tools I see up here are CT or off the truck! Any leads on Canadian online retailers or at the least US shops that share a little sympathy...
