I made arrangements to pick it up tomorrow. Any ideas on ways to get the paint off and thoughts on replacement glass for the left shield? What did the original paint look like?

Nice. I got one of those too as well as a top box from my grandfather a few years ago. They work a lot better than the new craftsman box I have.

Haha. If this forum didn't exist, I probably wouldn't have picked it up! I'm glad I did though as the mid box will get a lot of use and replace my newer midbox that doesn't match.

Hey guys. I have a couple USA made craftsman (3/8 & 1/2) wrenches with missing ball detents which keeps the right/left lever from moving. Does anybody know what size the ball is or where I can find a replacement? Thanks
