Well not long after I started this thread I discovered Menards and their Masterforce line of tools. Ended up getting both a metric hex and torx bit socket set as well as a set of metric wrenches. All for less $$$ than the SK hex bit socket set that I was looking at. Of course the Masterforce...

Fail on the 45 bulb LED work light. This light looks like it would be pretty bright,.. well it's not. I was extremely disappointed with how little light it actually puts out when I first plugged it in. Was also disappointed to find out that it has no on/off switch. I thought this light would...

Noticed today that the 6 pc. set is on sale again at sears.com for $76. The same as what I paid for my all US made set a month ago. I thought about buying a couple more sets to sell on ebay later, not sure if it'd be worth it though... People are asking crazy high prices for the U.S.A. ones, not...

I have these ones from HF, they're good not great. I've since upgraded to the Milwaukee ones, they're awesome, and keep the HF ones in the spare toolbox. Btw Irwin vice grips are now made in china.

Gotta agree with the previous posters. Having both of the full length drawers at the bottom and not being able to store sockets standing up would be a deal breaker for me. It's a nice looking box but for the price I probably would have went with the Husky 52", which has similar specs.

I wasn't really complaining and of course I expect to pay more for a quality American made tool. Prices for bit sockets sets were just a little higher than I expected so I thought I'd see what options were out there. I'm just out of community college and have only been at the job for a few...

I know that those ratchets are popular around here and I'm sure they're really nice but I actually prefer a non locking flex head for my application. Right now I'm borrowing one of the other guys old Blackhawk flex head ratchets when I need it and I wanted to get something similar for myself.
