How do you swap your motorcycle tires?

Haha, it's not actually a ninja 600 but my '04 ninja 250. That is really me on the dragon though.

How do you swap your motorcycle tires?

I just do it the old fashioned way with some tire irons and spoons. It's a bit of a wrestling match but I'm getting better at it after doing a few sets of tires. I usually don't bother with balancing motorcycle tires but when I do I just put the axle through the wheel and use some jack stands to...

opinion needed on a Husky box...

I like that 41" 16 drawer combo, looks nice. I know the general consensus on this forum is that the Husky boxes are ****, but I've been happy with mine so far. I've only had mine for a few months so I haven't used it a lot yet but I think they should be fine for the average weekend warrior...

    Hanson Socket Trays

Yep, this... I looked at the Hansen socket trays a few weeks ago at Menards. They seem like a decent product but I don't like how you have to store the sockets upside down. At least they are made in the U.S. and the price isn't bad. I've had the HF ones for a few years now and I like them just...

Affordable made in U.S.A. metric hex bit socket set

Well not long after I started this thread I discovered Menards and their Masterforce line of tools. Ended up getting both a metric hex and torx bit socket set as well as a set of metric wrenches. All for less $$$ than the SK hex bit socket set that I was looking at. Of course the Masterforce...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Picked up this old Kennedy box a few days ago for work. Came with a decent amount of tools as well. Might not be the prettiest box out there, but as my uncle said "it's got soul".

How is harbor freight always out of stock on main products??

Been looking for the flex head ratcheting wrench set in metric for a while now. Have a couple of stores around me but they're always out of stock when I happen to stop in. Obviously it's a popular item.

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

Fail on the 45 bulb LED work light. This light looks like it would be pretty bright,.. well it's not. I was extremely disappointed with how little light it actually puts out when I first plugged it in. Was also disappointed to find out that it has no on/off switch. I thought this light would...

Craftsman 3 Piece Thin Profile Ratchet Set USA Made??

Noticed today that the 6 pc. set is on sale again at sears.com for $76. The same as what I paid for my all US made set a month ago. I thought about buying a couple more sets to sell on ebay later, not sure if it'd be worth it though... People are asking crazy high prices for the U.S.A. ones, not...

    HF locking pliers

I have these ones from HF, they're good not great. I've since upgraded to the Milwaukee ones, they're awesome, and keep the HF ones in the spare toolbox. Btw Irwin vice grips are now made in china.

$399 Trinity/Costco 48" Stainless steel toolchest mini review

Gotta agree with the previous posters. Having both of the full length drawers at the bottom and not being able to store sockets standing up would be a deal breaker for me. It's a nice looking box but for the price I probably would have went with the Husky 52", which has similar specs.

Affordable made in U.S.A. metric hex bit socket set

I wasn't really complaining and of course I expect to pay more for a quality American made tool. Prices for bit sockets sets were just a little higher than I expected so I thought I'd see what options were out there. I'm just out of community college and have only been at the job for a few...

Affordable made in U.S.A. metric hex bit socket set

I know that those ratchets are popular around here and I'm sure they're really nice but I actually prefer a non locking flex head for my application. Right now I'm borrowing one of the other guys old Blackhawk flex head ratchets when I need it and I wanted to get something similar for myself.
