Affordable made in U.S.A. metric hex bit socket set

Those look really nice but the extra length would actually be a bad thing in some situations. Yeah I saw that set too. It's a good deal but unfortunately not the metric ones I need. Hmmm, yeah this comparable ratchet by Armstrong is actually a little less expensive. I really like the look...

Affordable made in U.S.A. metric hex bit socket set

So I'm looking to buy a metric hex bit socket set for work and I'd prefer American made. I work in a machine shop and it just feels wrong to be making parts all day and then picking up a foreign made tool to get a job done. I was looking at this set from SK but I was a little shocked when I saw...

    school me on ratcheting wrenches

I have the double box end metric set from HF and I really like them. I use them all the time when I'm working on my motorcycles. I've considered "upgrading" to another brand like gearwrench but I don't see the point. Yes the box end is bigger than a traditional combo wrench but I just assumed...

do I really want to buy some Craftsman ratchets?

I bought the 6pc thin profile ratchet set with extensions from sears.com for $80 a few weeks ago, everything is made in USA. They seem like a nice set of ratchets to me. I haven't used them much yet but they have a nice weight and solid feel to them, and I like the fat handles. Even if they did...

    Why I Buy Tekton

I'm lucky enough to have a Meijer just a few miles from me where they sell Tekton. Stopped by and picked up a few things today. I was in need of a new rubber mallet as my old wooden one is beat to **** so I was happy to find the fiberglass handle version... The ratchet was 20% of and even...

Craftsman 3 Piece Thin Profile Ratchet Set USA Made??

60 tooth, they feel pretty smooth to me out of the box and are probably the most quiet set of ratchets I've owned. It looked like an price for the three ratchets + extensions to me. There's one guy on ebay right now asking $84 for just the 1/2" ratchet. Hmm, I hope I have better luck...
