    Air Compressor for DIY Use

I have the Husky 30 gal ‘quiet’ oil free and it’s been fine for my needs. It’ll run a 1/2 impact well enough for tire rotations and such. Came in handy for painting the fence.

    Outdoor Air Compressor Lines

Yeah, the Cat6 will be fine.

    Lowes, now sears

This! If anything Sears at one time was convenient. Almost never had to worry whether they’d have what I needed.

    Father's day sales?

Academy had 20% off knives, picked up a Benchmade for a good price.

Looking for an inexpensive set of tools (sub $1k)

If it’s for weekend warrior stuff I’d grab a big Husky set at HD, a couple nicer ratchets, Klein/Channellock/Knipex pliers, etc. And the main reason I pick HD/Husky, is the times I have actually had to return something, HD has been easy and Lowe’s has been a pain.

    Not Impressed by Tekton

You won’t be disappointed. The Williamses are great ratchets.

Running CAT5 cable underground to detached garage.

Check out the Ubiquiti LAP-120. I’ve installed a few of these in the maritime industry between boats and barges and they work very well. Typically get 300-350MBPS between them. Range is up to a few miles. Edit: Seeing how close the buildings are, I’d just go with a mesh system in your home and...

What do you think of Harbor Freight tools?

Not something I’d be interested in with a miter saw. Few more bucks gets you a Ryobi and a 3 year warranty. My Ryobi isn’t a slider, but has been great after properly aligning the fence. Eta: I like their Apache cases.

Looking for a cordless impact recommendations...

I’m already in the Dewalt 20v ecosystem, but the Milwaukee impacts are sweet enough that I’ve considered getting one and a couple batteries.

I think I bought a fake Snap On tool box

My old man has that same Craftsman box in his shed. Pretty sure those used to be $100 new for the top/bottom set.

    Quality Fishing Pliers

Awhile back, Nothern Tool had Tekton needle nose pliers in the closeout bins for $2 a pair. Bought 5, so should be covered for the next decade. If I drop them overboard messing with a hardhead, no big deal.

    I finally bought a floorjack

The Northern Tool version of the Daytona jack gets you an extra year of warranty for a couple bucks less. Pretty sure it’s the same jack.

    Pittsburgh Wrenches

 You said you don’t have experience with Snap On, then go on to compare Pittsburgh to Snap On. Pittsburgh is fine for secondary tools, nothing wrong with having some. But to act like they’re the best thing ever to someone asking for advice is doing the person and this forum a disservice...

    Corded Circular Saw Recommendation

Just looked that one up and pretty sure it’s the one I have (bought mine 2-3 years ago). It’s been wonderful.

    Corded Circular Saw Recommendation

I'm happy with my Dewalt circular. Used it quite a bit running off a generator building a couple deer stands earlier this summer.

    Milwaukee 30inch toolbox combo

It won’t be a Mac, but for what you’re saying it should do fine. I like the drawer layout on those.

    Craftsman 52" or a HF 44"

A Craftsman vs HF comparison? Are you trying to make heads explode here? The HF will be a better built box. Craftsman did a ton of things right, but their boxes were never a bastion of quality.
