The tools of my youth. Thanks Dad.

Very cool. My father in law passed away last April, and my mother in law moved in with us recently. As part of settling the estate, I inherited most of the tools. I'm dividing them up for my kids. Obviously, keeping some things I need/want, but the rest will make a nice starter tool kits and...

    3/8 Best air hose?

Hey guys, my 2 year old air hose has a hole in it at the ******. What type of air hose is the strongest these days? This is my hobby garage and doesn't see everyday use, but I'd don't want to be changing hoses ever couple years. The hose is on a reel if that makes a difference. thanks!!

    Question on sealing garage doors

Guys, I had garage doors installed about a year ago and they don't seal very well. I get lots of spiders and other bugs creeping in around them and setting up house in my garage. My door installer is worthless, and I had another company come out who said to just put sticky traps down and catch...

Anyone use Husky or US General tool chest's?

Whoa! Sensitive subject apparently. LOL. Thanks for all the info. I never paid attention to tool box threads before as I wasn't in the market. I've been limping along on some 12+ year old Craftsmen boxes and a no name box from 1985 that the drawers barely work on. Anyway, my tool collection has...

Anyone use Husky or US General tool chest's?

Guys, With Black Friday approaching, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a new tool cabinet. Harbor Freight has a US General Brand and Home Depot has Husky. Has anyone use either of these for more that a year, and would you recommend? Trying to decide which brand to buy, can't afford a...

Question on selling a house with a garage -how to stage?

I hear ya on most people not wanting a garage. However, in my case, it will have to be someone that wants one. As the garage, office, and covered parking area occupy about 3600 sq. ft. Someone looking at our house as a house only, will see the garage as a liability due to it's size. We also have...

Question on selling a house with a garage -how to stage?

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the input. Empty and clean it is. Yep, the Demon is coming with me. Thanks for the compliment. As far as leaving the guy a new Corvette, I think he'll have to get that on his own. LOL. I'm planning to leave the lift unless they don't want it. I've moved about a...

Question on selling a house with a garage -how to stage?

Guys, After finally getting my dream garage built, I've decided I want to downsize. I have not put up all of my automotive memorabilia in the garage yet. A friend of mine suggested I do it as it will be more attractive to potential buyers. But, I'm wondering if I should just leave everything...

Thanks Tommy! I am very sore after doing that! I wish I'd known about the Cat 5 stuff when building the garage. I could have used it. Looks like good stuff! I think I'm going to run a 6" cove base in black.

Looking for automotive themed cabinet pulls

Guys, I'm looking for some automotive themed cabinets pulls. Any recommendations on stores that have them, or something you've made yourself? I'm a Mopar guy, so Mopar related stuff is preferred. This is going on some nice wood cabinets in my office. Thanks!!
