I have the Mac version of the overdrive screwdriver $70, use it often and love it. The Stanley version is much cheaper, will see how it lasts.
Got the whole Milwaukee step drill kit at HD for the same price they were selling just the large step drill.
Snap on YA 3182 A they come in three lengths, these are the longest. I splice them together by riveting a plate to the joint for my wrench drawer. I got some new on eBay and was then shocked when my useless SO dealer brought me some also.
I had one of those for a while, it didn't hold onto the pliers though and I would find them in a pile in the drawer. I bought the snap on wrench racks instead , ended up using them for my pliers, wrenches and screwdrivers, after a few years they are still great.
Everyone I have worked with that bought a new box got a loan. I paid cash for every box I've owned, this is the fourth new, out of eight. But it will be my last.
Hang around a tool truck and mention a new box, just like a car payment they only talk your weekly payment and inflated trade-in, not...
I gave up on kobalt the first time I had to warranty a swivel head ratchet, they had to call a manager, then it took a half hour to find the replacement. The manager told me, we couldn't find one with the same handle. They did, but it was the last in the store. Kobalt changed from a rubber...
I love my new Lista! I tried to get the cl box somebody posted earlier with no wheels, but after I drove an hour to get there, the seller got all crazy, oh well, I got a new box the color and configuration I wanted. Thanks to Joe and motorhead!
Lista offers all their boxes with a fixed base or wheels. The issue comes when it is time to clean or move, not to many have a forklift around.
Check out Lista deals at motorheadextraordinare.com I got a great deal on mine there, about half price to a SO.
To put it another way, what could I get from SO for $2,800, and how much Lista could I get for 7-8K. The only "advantage" SO offers is years of weekly payments. You would do much better buying a HF box to start, saving few bills a month aside until you can order a big Lista.
Part of my choice...
how much heat do they throw, the real reason I put up with the cheap halogen lights is HEAT, my unheated garage or driveway are made bareable with the heat output of a halogen most of the year.
(of course for the other month and a half I'm gonna have to buy one of these, thanks a lot!)
for double the price, you pay your money, and make your choices... the extra drawers in the SO did nothing for me. I had to lay everything out flat, that I can store on edge in the Lista, (using the SO storage racks) right now I have a drawer and a half that I'm not really using, due to better...
drawer length, and the locking wheels. The Colson casters on the Lista don't just lock in place, they also do not swivel when locked, keeps from having to push the box around to get the caster to move so you can unlock the brake.
comparing the Lista TSDW07C04-1003FL-M to a SO KRL1022CPJJ (for all you green tool **** nuts), SO lists this box at $8370.00, the equivalent SO is KRL7022CPES, $7435.00! the extra height of the green box is too tall for me to work at comfortably, if you're over 6' it might be nicer.
Whatever...
Comparing my box to the 4" taller SO, I have more drawer space! The SO wheels are taller than Lista, SO has torsion shock absorbers in the wheels being the main reason. Even with the bolted on rails Lista uses for the wheels.
Lista outer cabnet rails are much thinner 1" vs almost 3" for the fop...
