I have one as well. Picked it up about a month ago for $9.99. Used the laser last weekend to hang a few pictures and it worked flawlessly. The laser helped me align picture height across two walls (a big time saver). As Stuey mentioned, the ultrasonic distance finder is not 100% accurate but...

I believe Campbell Hausfeld is the one that makes those Husky compressors. I have the 60 Gallon version and on the plate tank mounted on the tank it shows the manufacturing date and the CH's name is stamped on it as well.
