New Shed needs power, does the line have to be buried?

It would be three feet, including the gravel on top of it. I would have to also break the plastic barrier under the gravel to get through to the solid clay dirt. Not worth it. Nobody will ever see it except me.

New Shed needs power, does the line have to be buried?

Do I need to use GFCI inside the shed? And if I get 2" or 3" diameter pipe would it be ok to just run the air hose inside the pipe next to the electric wire??

New Shed needs power, does the line have to be buried?

The pipe won't have any direct sunlight hitting it, that close to the house. Here in Ohio will get up to 100 degrees in the summer sometimes and down to 0 or below in the winter. I would like to put it up once and forget about it!

New Shed needs power, does the line have to be buried?

Few more questions: Would it OK to get a bigger diameter pipe and also run an airline inside the conduit? Also, what type/kind of conduit should I use, metal or PVC? The length of the pipe from the house will only be about 24" to 30" inches.

New Shed needs power, does the line have to be buried?

I just got the gravel setup for our new shed that is coming in a few weeks. I will need to have power in this shed, a few lights and a few power outlets. The shed is going to be two feet from our house. I am curious if I can run the electric wire to it through pipe, about the ground? Does it...

"Thin" DP circuit breaker for 5hp compressor?

Yes, I did, sorry. That amazes me that motors and AC units don't have the same "ampacity rules" as general circuits.

"Thin" DP circuit breaker for 5hp compressor?

Question, if he is going to go to 40 or 50 amps, how can he only use a 10 amp wire? Because it is a short distance?
