I am getting ready to redo my garage area also. I might look at Facebook market, and craigslist for deals. Sometimes on there people are giving away old decks and other lumber. Also you can sometimes find deals on lumber from other dealers. Anyway, I would definitely go wider than one inch...

Step back and look how talented and knowledgeable you are to be able to do all of these jobs/projects you have done! :thumbup: I don't think you give yourself enough credit as to how many awesome jobs you have done to fix one thing, then find five other things that need fixed, and you FIX THEM.
