    Why does yours need to be replaced? If it's the batteries, consider replacing them. I've done that to several items that I really liked but couldn't find a suitable replacement for.

    The seller isn't referencing the spindle lock nut you're referring to. He's referencing the set screw as shown by @designer485. Look at the picture the seller provided. You can see a stainless set screw. Seems the seller was very clear about what he was saying.

    Forget trying to make an extension hose and just replace the whole thing. Go with the fittings of your choosing and remake the entire line from pump to lift.

    Thermocoupler. Mine was doing the same thing. Had a repair guy come out and service the fireplace. Replaced thermocouple and hasn't happened again in the last two years.

    I believe he means it's scary he was right in his prediction of what the specs were on your compressor. He basically called it before you showed what you actually ended up with.

    Heat 24/7 or only when in the shop?

    I have the exact same size shop, but with 10 foot ceilings. I'm in Colorado. I only heat mine when I'm out there. It doesn't take long at all to get it up to a comfortable temperature, which for me is around 55-60. I don't care if the floor is cold - I'm not lying on it.

    This is the most important part of blow drying a vehicle. If you don't have a well maintained paint finish with a really good coating on it, blow drying isn't going to work.
