They gave me some sob story about them loosing money if they price matched the gold to the platinum sale price. :rolleyes: The platinums for my wifes car and my truck were only $11.99 at full price where as the gold for my car was $22.99. Oh well, Ill just continue to use RockAuto!

I tried 2 different stores and neither one would match the gold for the platinum price. I just ended up getting 2 filters for my wifes car and 2 for my truck. Anyone have issues with them not carrying a platinum filter for their car? I tried this promo today and they do not have a platinum for my car but do have the gold. The gold was $22 and they would not substitute for me. Best they would do was the 20% off the price of the gold.

I use the DCF894 (mid torque) for lugs and its perfect. Not the heavy beast dcf899 but lots more power than the smaller impacts.

I picked up the $10 Carlyle tool caddy and it is pretty nice. Decent size, small metal bin for holding screws, and plenty of room on the sides. Also while there, they had the Napa brand semi-synthetic oil for $12.99 for a 5qt jug. Full synthetic was $16.99 I think.

It will not show this price on the website. Have to check in the store. I went to a few stores that day and they all had the same pricing.

The Blackstone griddles showed up at my store last year just before thanksgiving. I was hoping to catch one cheap on clearance but haven't noticed any price drops yet. Maybe Ill check this weekend. Home Depot clearance items usually show online only once they start the clearance cycle.

Does the buy/return still work on these kits? It used to break down the cost at checkout but now that they are all listed under one kit it just shows the final price. I already have the drill/impact kit but am looking to get the small shop blower and possibly the bluetooth radio.
