Then just use the older 6pt. ratcheting versions? If you're concerned about breaking a ratcheting wrench on a crumbed up 10-12mm, time to upgrade the set imo...

1/4" impacts?? Heck, I'm trying to rationalize getting 3/8" ones! :LOL: But for real, we use the 1/4" hex adapter and an M12 Fuel driver on sub-14mm all day with regular deep 6pt. chromies without any drama (yet).

I don't have any real data on this, (and I do agree with you a bit) but I think it is because that type of scissor is used for trimming thread and small fabric parts (embroidery etc.) and as such you tend to hold the handles perpendicular to you and the work piece, unlike cutting large fabrics...

All the recent swivel impact hullaballoo convinced me no more bolts are coming off the truck without 'em :LOL: 1/2" flavor, they seem quite well built and less tight/notchy than I anticipated. Still weird that the size is on each socket 3 times, but none are stamped. Acceptable cost-cut tho.

I like Google Lens' suggestion of "taxidermy positioning system" part the best.
