    Finalizing Shop plans, feedback encouraged

Is there epoxy floor coatings that will take years of brake cleaner, gasoline spills from a fuel line or mower, diesel fuel, or gear and hydraulic oils? It looks awesome but I seem to always find photos of beautiful shops with the area under lifts and parked cars looking like hell.

    I hate drywall mud

On another note, who here prefers nails over screws? I worked with a contractor once that used nails and glue exclusively over screws. I thought it was crazy but it was great and very quick. He also used the paper tape not the fiberglass. On **** joints where there is no taper, to you guys...

Good to know! On another note, is there a sticky or thread for PSA threads like this?

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The 12-Gauge Garage

Re: My bolt-on 911 aero: it will never be pretty, but now it's much easier to pack Very well done, and it "looks" very IMSA-esque and like it works well. What is the angle on the rear diffuser?

    Rest In Peace Dewalt Flexvolt.

Half the RPM, twice the torque? It would be interesting to see how it cuts in an unbiased comparo. If the cutter speed is half as well, which depends on their drive sprocket design as well, it is going to feel like an old 4 stroke gas chainsaw except with even more torque before it bogs out...

Everyone ready for the "Drywall vs OSB" weekly thread?

Which is cheaper per square installed, OSB, Plywood, Drywall, or steel? I've done a 40x60x16 in drywall, finished and painted, almost wonder if steel would have been easier and cheaper?

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Well I did it, Rural King had on black friday a one item 20 percent off, I used it on the 2767 Gen II 1/2" impact. Came out to be $180 after tax. Sold my Gen I for what I paid for it, $150 cash. Now, if only I can find the protective boot without costing me an arm and a leg, anyone found one...

    The Eastwood QST-30/60

Any plans to make a larger version of this? It seems extremely efficient, but I would be looking for something along the lines of 25scfm.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Are there any specs on the gen 2 m12 hex impact other than it's shorter in working height and probably lighter, does it have any more torque than the current m12 hex impact? Also, just want to put in here that I'm fully addicted. I got the M18 fuel surge impact/drill driver kit for my birthday...

LED/T8 or a bunch of ceiling sockets? Lighting a 2 Car Garage

I'm trying to wrap my brain around all of the different lighting options out there and as you can imagine it's been a tough road. I have a 21x21 attached 2 car garage with 10' ceilings. I have one 300w equivalent CFL in the center of the garage above the opener and one 200w equivalent CFL...

Leroi - Dresser 550A Air Compressor with 10HP 3p Motor - my next project

Great work! Quick question on one of those beast compressors - could you use two single phase 240v motors to run one instead of the big 3ph 480v units? Or can some of them be re-wired to 240v and ran with a vfd?
