The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

A good friend of mine has his Dad's top box that matches this. He wouldn't ever part with it just like me. If I was you I would keep yours. If you ever decide to sell it please PM me. The handles do it for me. They have a character to them you don't find any more.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

This box is no where near as nice as many posted here. It is a 1958 KR352. My Dad bought it used for $15 in 1967 at the Mack truck garage in Newburgh, NY. It had already been spray painted. Over the last 6 months I have done hours of work to it. I started by very slowly removing the spray paint...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

The current supply of BS on the premises has exceeded present capacity. After projecting future BS requirements, it appears that we have more than enough on hand for future years. Thank you for your previous contributions. You can continue to help by making donations elsewhere. I had it...

I would love to know the story. But there is not one identifying mark on it. I appreciate it for the craftsmanship.

Thanks for the kind words. Prop was pulled out of the trash when I bought the house. I gets dusted every 10 years. Dust keeps it looking great.

    Snap On KR-352 Drawer Slides

I finally found a set of very usable drawer slides. Jonnybentwrench had a perfect pair on the bay. For less than an Andy Jackson I have (2) almost like new slides. I installed them this weekend, and now all 3 drawers are smooth as butter. Next step is to weld a coupld of the tracks that are...

    KR-562A My taco cart restore

My problem is I am restoring a KR-352 from the 50's. I am lucky to be the second owner... So I don't have the same box but was hoping the longer runners on this box might be something to start with. The folks at snap on have tried to dig, but I am hoping to at least give them a place to start...

    KR-562A My taco cart restore

Is it possible to get the dimensions and part number on the longer slides. I am working an older box. I called Snapon and the gave sold me slides that are too short and the longer ones you have might be reworkable to what I need.

    Snap On KR-352 Drawer Slides

Hello, this is my first post here, long time lurker (like 2 years), registered a few days ago, so I can see all the pictures. I am working on a KR-352 Roll Cabinet (1958). I identified it by following links from this site. I have managed to get 4 of the 6 drawer slides straightened to the...
