    Peeling chrome part on long extension - sand + ? paint? - what do you do?

    A trick to tidy up chrome is to use aluminium foil dipped in water and give the affected area a good rub down. Often cleans up minor stains and rust spot, depending on severity. Worth a try. Aluminium - English, correct. Aloo min um U.S English, incorrect.

    Bought this from a car boot sale recently, £65. 42" x 15" x 15". One drawer and one shelf. Excuse pic. quality, dark and overcast here 13.30 hours. Will make a base with castors at some point. Also have the original locks but no keys.

    Some Stanley drivers from the Woodside factory in Sheffield. Maybe 1960's in there, certainly 1970's and perhaps early 1980's. Tack/trim puller handy for lots of uses. Magnetic bit holder will not release bits without a fight, still to this day. I use Blue point 1/4" sq drive instead - very good...
