    Show your new tool arrivals

I can't imagine letting the way someone wears their baseball cap influence my perception of them. I wear mine backwards when I'm riding the motorcycle and turn it back around when I'm done, but in all honesty, if someone told me they were triggered by it being backwards, I'd probably genuinely...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I run those Vredestein Quatracs on the back of my motorcycle. Good tires.

    Craftsman Air Compressor Fan

Glad you found it! I wasn't sure if links to external sites were OK, and I like it here, so I'm trying to be a good boy. I make SO much stuff on the 3D printer. I was able to figure out basic CAD like Fusion360 and there are lots of free files out there that anyone can use.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I sold my Cummins truck since I barely use it any more and immediately needed it several times for piddly stuff, so I bought a cheap 5x8 trailer from the big blue box store to drag behind the Jeep. The expanded metal they use on these now is ridiculously thin, so I used up some of the junky...

    What to do with lasers?

Thanks for the solid advice. The lasers came with several higher quality pairs of glasses, so I don't have to do the safety squint. They also came with multiple lenses to change the light frequencies but I haven't played around with them. It's interesting how the wavelength thing works to us...

    Shop Press Question

I have the HF 20 Ton press also. The base plates are no longer cast, they have been replaced with very thick plasma cut plate. I replaced the jack with a 20 Ton air over hydraulic jack and put the thing on castors because I'm that lazy. It does everything I need, but if I had a business where I...

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT Mixed Grill - From London , England - GRIZZMAKES world

Great thread, Grizz. Makes me feel all nostalgic. My dad was born in Kent and I grew up in tiny North Creake, Norfolk. Dad was the blacksmith there for yonks, so naturally I apprenticed under him. We restored an old Morris Minor 1000 when I was young. I wish I had the interest back then, it was...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I went to Home Depot for some bolts to finish a trailer project. They had a toolbox on their Black Friday sale. I absolutely do not need another toolbox. This meant I had to make a spot for it, which made more of a mess than I anticipated.

    Meross Smart Garage Opener

I often open my garage door while walking the dogs, mowing (fuel, oil, leaf blower to clean, etc), riding my motorcycle or ebikes. If I go outside to do something I close the door to keep heat / AC in. I also open it using Siri when the housekeeper or other service workers need access and I'm...

    Garage with no exit door

Easy / cheap just replace the opener with a battery backup model and forget about it. Doors are super easy to frame in, too.

    HOA horrors?

I don't fully understand the disconnect here. The lady at the DMV told me what happened, and I relayed that in my post. It bewilders me when people put this amount of effort into disparaging the word of others, based purely on their incorrect assumptions. They use a drone to check properties.

    HOA horrors?

Yes. It was a cash sale on a used Kubota. There was no paperwork other than a bill of sale, which I filed away when I got home.

    What to do with lasers?

In a nanosecond. Unfortunately it's irreversable.

    What to do with lasers?

Not easily, but that's something to look into. It would make them very much more usable.

    What to do with lasers?

It would be ok for etching or removing small amounts of rust.
