That was a concern during the planning phase, but it's rock solid with the pressure lines, drain and wiring going straight into the wall on the viewer's right side of the unit. There's no vibration or movement.

You might look at Aqara brand switches. I replaced most of my dumb switches with them. I like the added functionality of controlling multiple devices or scenes with each switch.
