the only reason I see for the 24"oc is for the decking if you are going to have shingles....or you could go with 48"oc or 96" and perlines for metal roofing...

You'll need a trap..and if you have a lot of clay in the ground, a bucket won't work..if you could get a trap in, and run some drain tile in the yard, I think you'd be fine.

How well do they hold up if you have a snow plow? Sometimes the plow drags when it's being put on or taking off...I'm thinking that the race deck shouldn't be used in cold climates..just wondering,,

Nice drawings...buit if it's only going to be 8-10' away from the existing garage, I don't think I'd hassle with the footings for a breezeway..can you just build your building on a slab?
