that's what I want to do to my attached garage....add about 20' to the side...that's the way my rafters go so it would end up being roughly 32*20 addition....that looks great...

I think hurricane straps would work too....sister the collar ties up, dont go more than 2/3 of the way up....maybe even sister both sides of the rafter...

thanks fellas.....I live in Wisconsin and right now it's about -10 with the wind chill....I'd use it to **** around a bit in my little shop and thaw my truck and plow after a night of throwing snow....

I see alot of guys have that Dayton G73(I think it is)or any electric heater.....how much does it cost to run?

I'm thinking of putting cans in my garage seeing that the ceiling ht is only 8'..anyone have any other thoughts? It's an existing detached that I'm redoing. the garage is 28*24..I was thinking of 3 rows of 5 since the garage doopr is on the 24' wall.

yesterday a buddy of mine came over to look at my garage......I have decided to add a lean-to to the back of the garage that will be 6*24....bringing the total length to 28'*24...there will be a lam board going across, and I'll have two posts 4' from the walls cuz the max span of the lam board...

has anyone used this product? they say you can run water buried 18" below grade...but how would you get into the building I wonder...
