Do they make a tool like this?

Or if you're adventurous, try boiling it yourself.

O.K. So I have to ask

I just want to throw this out there, I'm not defending Mac, I was simply just trying to get an honest opinion on why so many people do not like them.

O.K. So I have to ask

On the subject of truck brand tools not having sales, take a look at this... http://catalogs.shoplocal.com/mactools/index.aspx?pagename=shopmain&fsid=f2d45aae-9abd-424c-a524-47876a2f0689&pagenumber=1&circularid=16494&batchid=1201415 I asked my dealer about it, he didn't even want the trade in...

O.K. So I have to ask

If your buying a GW 10 pice metric set for $30, your'e buying them off the back of someones truck..... a rusted out pickup..... or maybe the stuby set when it is on clearance at Canadian tire, like it is now, for $44, not $30, and its a 7 peice set, not 10 I am assuming HF is Harbor Freight...

O.K. So I have to ask

When I inquired about them with my snap on dealer, he assured me that "to the best of his knowledge" the bluepoint ratchet wrenches were made overseas Again, I asked my dealer when I bought the socket (5.5mm) and he was very sure that is was a Taiwan made socket. I have also been slowly...

O.K. So I have to ask

So the driving force behind the bulk of the anti Mac stuff is the COO deal when they switched, obviously left a very bitter taste in most folks mouth. And believe me, I get that, I actually was unaware of that until recently. I brought this thread up to my dealers attention, he printed it out...

O.K. So I have to ask

Their is absolutely no comparison between the mac tools and the stuff you buy at harbour frieght (Princess Auto would be the equivalent up here in Canada) Maybe it is just my dealer, he has been great. My Snap On deal *****, alright guy, but the BS when asked about products drives me nuts...

O.K. So I have to ask

Because when I bought a rusted up 7 piece wrench set at yard sale and asked him what I could do with them, he swapped the whole set out for new ones due to "chrome chipping". I've been buying from him ever since then. Maybe my dealer is different than most, but he has always been up front...

    Mac Multimeter Pawn Shop Find

That is an excellent meter. I use mine everyday, have for 2 years now without even changing the battery. One of the other guys in the shop has had one for 5 years or so, he had it when he started for us 4 years ago anyway, says he bought about a year before that. As far as who makes it, I...

O.K. So I have to ask

Why does everyone seem to hate Mac Tools so much? I've never bought a bad tool from my dealer, who has always treated me excellent, consistently has way better pricing than Snappy, and is very up front about the tools no longer being made in the USA. No warranty hassles either. So what gives?
