A couple saved from the trash can at work. Both are pre OSHA warnings and pre UPC codes. With the help of everyone’s favorite expert. AI. Looks like the green A-9 is from the late 70’s to early 80’s. And the yellow can is late 60’s to early 70’s.

    Dunlap tools & boxes

Thanks. Yeah most of the vintage tools I've been restoring have some kind of bright polishing done to them. I'm one of those that restore for display purposes only. So that's why I take them a little over the top. As for the process. I will start them all by hand with 2x2 inch foam backed...

    Screw starters...

Quick wedge. Seems like an earlier version 1965 to early 80’e since it still running b the US patent number on the inside lip. But it does have the registered trademark R. Which puts it on the newer side of that date range. I think.

    Show Your Vlchek Tools

Restored this Vlchek hammer a while back. I picked it up because I was intrigued on how small the handle was for how big the hammer head was. After some research, I found out Vlchek made auto tool kits. And a short handled hammer was part of those kits. Sorry for the bad pics. Had to pull...

What are some of your oldest tools ?

Also have these Mason's combined pliers and wrench. They were listed in a 1907 catalog. So they could be a little older than 1907.

What are some of your oldest tools ?

Probably my oldest if it is what we think it is. Cant find much history on it, but from the folks on this message board. Sounds like it could be a Weber wagon wrench made from 1845 or it could be a Weber stationary engine wrench from the mid 1880's
