I have Vessel and Sunflag fixed screwdrivers and the Anex 397 ratcheting screwdriver. All are excellent quality. After listening to my tales of carburetor screw removal/reinstallation with them, my GF decided she need an Anex 397 of her own.

Why not just replace the Schrader valve core of the valve stem. Then pocket the savings, while you monitor the pressure for a couple of days. After that, you may decide that 4+ year old tires (which might have 50-60K miles on them) might be due for replacement. Tires keep you out of ditches!

If you break a socket.......(which should be a very rare occurrence).....you need a back up socket in your box. The socket will always break when the store is closed, or the day after the tool truck came by. As a retired tech, the tool truck is never going to drop by my shop or my buddy's shop...

If you are on a budget, and just want to be prepared, I'd get one of those SAE/Metric 13 piece 3/4 drive socket sets off of ebay. You'd have the most commonly used sizes. A HF ratchet would get you by. You can always upgrade or add to it over time, from yard sales.

A person needs spark plug sockets at home, and in their vehicle toolbox. Then they should have the correct sockets for the spark plug that needs to be changed or cleaned. Oh........don't forget the oddball spark plug you might come upon in your travels. A friends weed whacker, chainsaw, etc...
