    Crimper question

I'm resurrecting this thead. What's wrong with the hammer type crimpers? For us that may use them once every 2-3 years, it sure is cost effective!

Help me identify this antique tool

I've had this for years and don't even know where I got it, but have never been able to figure out what it is or used for. There are no markings on it. It must count revolutions for something as the tip turns the worm gear that moves the dial. But for what application?

    Another lighting question on T5HO

My garage has 16' ceilings and is 32' x 80' with skylights and white insulated roof. From what I'm reading here, I need high bay lights. Looking at a lighting display at HD, the T5HO stated high bay and are far brighter then anything else. Is there any downfall to these fixtures? How long do...

Great idea!! Another question on figuring voltage drop values: Is the voltage 220 for the total voltage or is it 110 for what each wire carries?

    Long Service Pull for Garage

Just finished getting my 2700 sq' garage up and need to get power to it. Our property is long and narrow with 400 amps pulled to meter; 200a is already pulled for house and there is another 200 amp box that I want to use for the garage. However, it's about 375' from box to garage. I've looked...
