Done installing my new lights. Here are my before/after photos. I went from 2 incandescent light bulbs with CFL 6500K bulbs in them 75W equivalent to 6 of the 8ft tandem t8 fixtures with 5,000K bulbs. Love the light output of these and now I have plenty of light to fill my 21x28 3 car garage...

I'm installing 6 t8 fixtures today in my 21x28 garage. Going to remove the 2 existing incandescent bulbs and put these in place of those. They are the 96" 8ft strip lights from home depot. I also went with the 5,000k 2,850lumen t8 bulbs for light output.

So the lumen output is 4,000 for this LED fixture, whats the average lumen output of the equivalent T8 system? I would prefer LED as I have switched most of my light bulbs in our house to LED from CFL and all my flash lights are LED including all the offroad lights on my Jeep are LED light bars...

Why do you feel the leading edge of price falls is within a few months? Is there something in the market giving signs?

So did you end up buying the LED or going with the T8 fixture?

How much was this LED lighting? I'm doing my garage lighting soon and looking at LED lights as well. Just curious the cost of this and what the part number was from home depot?

For the record, anyone looking for large 16x16 ribbed style free flow garage tile i highly recommend Justin's product. It was a snap to install, the tiles are very quiet to walk on, look amazing and will hold up to the task. I do love the 3/4" thick tiles, it creates for a nice strong support...
