Pictures of my junk (picture heavy)

The box is a KERN682B0PJJ, yes it is extreme green. It's the 68" Epiq series. No I haven't been collecting that long, only turning wrenches professionally for 3 years now. However it is complete with more or less everything I need to do my job, I haven't borrowed a tool in months. That...

Pictures of my junk (picture heavy)

    Snap-On Hammers

I have the snap on deadblows in both steel and soft face. I also have regular hammers. Just from a user stand point they seem to put out roughly the same amount of "force", but the SO hammers don't bounce back, which at the end of the day feels much better on your wrists and elbows. The snap...

    not many top chests

I don't post here much at all, but I feel this is a conversation I can add to. I will add a disclaimer here at the beginning, these are my views, and the way I feel. Refinishing an impact

Don't get me wrong, i don't expect whatever finish I choose to last forever. I just want to make this gun look a little better than it does. While I am not a tool polisher I have spent an incredible amount of money on tools and like to keep them clean and presentable looking. This impact...

    Refinishing an impact

I definitely plan to use it, none of my tools are for display. I originally planned to paint it, but wasn't sure how well that would hold up. Is there someone that makes a spraybomb that looks remotely close to the snap on red, or better yet the extreme green of my tool box?

    Refinishing an impact

Does anyone know how snap on impacts are finished from the factory? Is it powder coat or paint? I got an awesome deal on a used 1" drive impact this weekend, and it seems to work well but the paint(or powdercoat) is a little worse for the wear, so I may cosmetically fix it. Any ideas?
