    Motive bleeder

Hey dude, you WONT be sorry. I have one and I love it. One word on the adaptors though they are JUNK. I bought the bleeder from Motive and all the adaptors and was very unhappy with the adaptors leaking and so on. (I build classic F100's) anyway, I got the necessary adaptors from Power Probe and...

    Another Compressor Question

I'm not sure about the QT series, but if I remember correctly they are a "reed" valve type of compressor and if thats what they are they are like the "throw away" Cambell Hausfields. Quincy started "rebadging" some imports a few years ago to compete with the throwaway junk. SAD!! Quincy QR...

    Want to build metal brake

You guys are the greatest. I havent taken time to look over all the plans as of yet, the main thing I was interested in and having problems with figuring out was the "cam lock" hold down system to hold the material down while bending it. I dont like the press type break, and really like the one...

What kind of music do you listen to in your garage?

I've got that one, but its not one of my favorites. His newer stuff is really good now. It would be hard for me to narrow it down to my favorite? Along came a spider is really good, but so is Dirty Diamonds but probably my all time favorite of his is Hey Stoopid. My daughter's favorite is Along...

    Want to build metal brake

Hey guys I would like to build a "small" metal brake something like 36" or so? Ovbiously I would love to own a real one like a Tinnsmith or Niagra or so, but since the money aint there and if I do find one reasonably priced it is usually on the other side of the world and shipping would cost...

He sold them to me for $200  My garage is actually '30x'40 but I have to move the addition back to clear my electric meter...

Gotta know if someone has one of these...

I'm a Ford guy, but they have some stupid ideas on some things. On one of my sites that I frequent, a guy has in his signature Forgive Our Retarded Designers. As for the under dash creeper, I'd like to have one, just havent taken time to make one yet. I'm almost a contortionist from some of the...

    Old *american* quality

I know what you mean, I have a 16" 1944 model South Bend metal lathe and a 1959 Toolmaster Cincinnati vertical mill. The craftsmanship is outstanding on these old machines and you can actually take them apart and work on them. Also they weigh a TON!! I love old machines!! Good score!!

    Water heater question

Thanks guys, I'll probably leave it alone and just run 110v to it. As I said its almost new. Its a Whirlpool brand and its got a 1500 watt element in it. I'm not exactly sure what gallon size it is, I couldnt read it where its sitting. (its up on a wall) I've had it a while and never got around...

    Water heater question

Hey guys, I bought a small water heater (I think its about 15 gallon) thats 110v for my garage. I was wondering if I could change the element and switch to 220v or if thats a dumb idea? The reason I ask is the cost of running a 110v water heater over a 220v? And I have a 220v plug close enough...
