    Tire machine help

You're going to have to lift up on the duck head (plastic piece) side of the tire and pry the bottom bead of the tire up to get it over the duck head.

It *****, but at least buying off the truck you generally can get a loaner while it's out.

I think the Matco's are made by Launch now. I know the MaxFlex is. The screen became unresponsive on my buddies and it was sent to Launch to get fixed. When he got it back all makes and models were unlocked for some reason.

What was the price at that time if you don't mind me asking?

    ANOTHER bi-directional scan tool thread.

I would consider the same. I have a dealer I text when I need something. He hasn't had any used scanners lately. I've been happy with my Snap-On Verdict with the exception of the cost of updates. I'd like to venture out to another brand, because I've run into issues with coverage on some...

    Best 1/2 extra long ratchets?

I know you said no Matco, but if you're looking for a locking flex head, I like theirs the most. Aside from that both the Mac and Snap on are great. Which guy warranties with out hassle? I'd buy from that one.

Thanks guys. The Autels are pretty straight forward. I see JBtools has the MS906BT for I think $1199. I see the MK906BT for around the same price. It looks the same but red? Processor, ram, and rom are the same. The Launches are pretty confusing, but I do see a lot of people using the Diagun...

    ANOTHER bi-directional scan tool thread.

Hello all. I'm a home-gamer, I work in the automotive industry, but not a tech. Lately I've been taking on a lot of work on the week ends and I need a new scan tool. I have an old Modis, an old OTC Genysis, and a Verdict, which is my most up to date. I was putting a turbo on a 2018 Ford Edge...

    Broken air hammer bits.

Hello all, I broke two air hammer bits the other day while tickling out some ball joints. It's an older Mac long barrel. It's no slouch, but it's no big nasty either. I've never broken an air hammer bit in the shank before. One was no-name, one was a Mac Tools. Is how they broke indicative of...

One more welder thread 240V vs 120V

That titanium welder is an inverter welder and much easier to use with flux core than a transformer welder will be.

    Axel seals

My axle nut sockets have driven on far more seals than actually used on axle nuts.

Using 3/4" impact with 1/2" sockets

I don't think that gun will be breaking many adapters.

Mac RBRT Torx set - $135.99

They have the RBRT hex available as Proto advance hex, but they are hard to find.

Mac RBRT Torx set - $135.99

Similar experience here. Trying to by a non-sale hex RBRT set I needed and the website was freaking out. Tried the phone but gave up after 10-15 minutes.

    Compressor problems?

I would expect 10-12cfm under normal use for a needle scaler.

    Snap-On Puck Light question

The Cyclops lights are great lights and an amazing value, but I have had the micro USB charging plug break on a few. But for the price, I can't complain.

    Grease Gun Recommendation

When you find one, be sure to keep your full grease guns with the fully charged batteries and clean 5 gallon buckets.
